There are a lot of games. Like so many.
I tried to compile a list of every game I've played or watched for a fair period of time, or know to be a good game that I haven't gotten around to, or am just familiar with enough to consider it part of my own sort of gaming canon. It is primarily focused on indie games. This list is non-exhaustive. It is also in alphabetical order because I don't want to have to rank them. I already have trouble picking my favorites anyway. As I try to continue writing entries, I waver on whether each one deserves a spot, and some of them are really hard to make a decision on. I can always remove them, so I guess I'll try to stick to being familiar with the game in the first place as an initial bar of entry, and enjoyment second. Think of this like every game that has ever influenced my perception of games, what I enjoy, what I don't enjoy, and whatnot. Maybe one day I'll put them more in the order in which I came across them to show how/when they crossed my paths and became part of who I am.
